Artist's Description
The blue brick streets found in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico with an aging purple flower. They are blue stone, cast from furnace slag which were brought over on Spanish ships as ballasts. The blue color comes from age and moisture. The streets are part of a long Puerto Rican Heritage.
